Some suggestions:

I'm reading Assasin's Apprentice, and it is amazing so far! Though I started reading it haha

My favorite book right now is The fault in our stars and my favorite author is (and will always be) J.K Rowling.

I love fantasy, romance and I am a huge Dystopian nerd. I find that I prefer YA novels to novels written to appeal to the adult crowd (which is why I am here!). I like to be able to read something and then recommend it to my 12 year old son, so we can talk about it after he has read it. I prefer series over standalone novels - I like to really get into reading about and getting to know the characters.
My all time favorite series are the Belgariad and Mallorean series by David and Leigh Eddings. My aunt gave me this series when I was 13, and 17 years later, it's still my favorite!

I've been a Goodreads member for quite some time now without joining any groups but since I'm always looking for new books to read, I thought it would be a good idea to join this one. :)

Hi! My name is Alyssa and I absolutely love YA books. I don't think I will ever grow out of them. Some of my favorite books include anything written by Ellen Hopkins, Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi, and Divergent by Veronica Roth. Some of my favorite authors include Ellen Hopkins, Cassandra Clare, and James Patterson.

Yeah they're both good! Neither as good as tfios and Looking for Alasks, but I think Papertowns was definitely worth reading.

Hey! I recently read all the Cassandra Clare books and I absolutely loved them!! Nice to meet you!

I'm in my late 20's so I don't actually read much YA anymore, since it's become difficult to relate to, but I'm always interested in a good story no matter the genre or age group. Not to mention, I'm in the process of writing a YA/NA novel so I figured staying up to date on the scene would be a good idea.
I currently live in Ohio where I work as an illustrator for video games, comics and children's books but hopefully I'll be able to segue my creative side into fiction pretty soon.
As always, it's lovely to meet you all. :)

My name is Anika, and I don't really have a "favorite" book or author. It really depends on my mood. But oh well, I'm going to give my opinion now :)
The Book Thief, loooved that book.
Cassandra Clare, never read a book that I didn't like from her.
Rick Riordan, though I have only read his mythological books, I was disappointed in his last book of BoO, and I have a feeling that I'm getting too "old" for his kind of writing. BUT I have loved his books for many years so he is going on my list ^^
The Fault In Our Stars, I was deeeply touched, and there are not many books which make me cry...
Harry Potter series I guess. I was a Potterhead :p
I'm ALWAYS looking for new books. It's like a hobby of mine x) I am broke because of books XD .
I am the bookworm of the family too, and in my friends :p
Hope it's ok to have smileys on the messages. I read the rules about messaging, no text talk, but I wasn't sure if smileys were aloud. It's a habit of mine so...
Anyways I'm from France and trilingual too ^^ Hello!!
