Hi, I'm Doug. I'll read almost anything, but I do find myself circling back to YA. I also write, and only recently realized I was writing YA (I think of it as SF with young characters, but one of my readers told me no, you're writing YA) (which makes me wonder if there's a formal definition for YA!)

I'm an ear, nose, and throat doctor. My favorite YA series would be Ptolemy's Gate and the rest of the Bartimaeus trilogy. Favorite author overall is Terry Pratchett, who does write YA on occasion (his Tiffany Aching books, like The Wee Free Men).

Hope you'll have time to look around.I've been to Paris and it's beautiful and best to experience it is to walk it trough as much as you can.
Madrid is different, great architecture and it's Mediteran country and people are warmer. I'm from Croatia and our Adriatic sea is something special,
