Hi, my name is Nicole... clearly I love reading (otherwise I wouldn't be here). I get really excited over books... and I mean really excited... at the moment, I am obsessing over The Mortal Instruments, Harry Potter (and have been for the last 4 years)and The Hunger Games (and have been for the last 2 years).
I am reading The Girl in the steel corset by Kady Cross after a recommendation from a friend, but it is not really obsess-worthy in my opinion. I recently finished the 6th Skulduggery, Kingdom of the Wicked, which was very good...
I am also a little bit addicted to the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson...
wow, this has turned into a little bit of an essay. XD
My favourite Author of all time : J.K Rowling!!!! She is amazing and I love her books... However, I alos love Cassandra Clare, Suzanne Collins and Isobelle Carmody.

I'm a complete book worm and spend hours on Amazon and here looking for new books to download and read. Seeing as I have no money, I've spent a lot on books recently seeing as it takes me a few hours to finish a book as i can never put it down once i've started one.
I'm currently into reading YA and Dystopian books, although Chick-Lits will always be my number one.
I have many favourite authors but I will praise Nicholas Sparks for writing my favourite book - A Walk To Remember. I think it was the first book I properly read that wasn't for school and since then i have loved reading.

Name is Francis, new to Goodreads--most of my "real life" friends are not readers (moron's). So any friend invites would be awesome. Then my girlfriend will know I'm making social progress.

Favorite book? The Hobbit. After that, would have to be Ender's Game.

Favorite author? You might think I'm crazy, but my favorite author isn't Tolkien or Card. I love the writing styles of Stephenie Meyer and Barry Eisler. However, I'm really enjoying Jaime Buckley.

If I'm only allowed to pick one, though, it would most likely be Barry Eisler. Rain series is the best.
