Introduce Yourselves HERE!

I'm so pumped to connect and read with you guys!!
I have a 3 Y.O and another due this september.

Thanks for letting me join. My name is Aidan and I'm from Ireland. I'm a huge YA fantasy reader but also love to read horror and books on angels, ghosts etc. I'm also an author and had my debut YA fantasy novel, "The Lost Son", published last year with the revised edition published in April. It's always great to meet other readers online too.

I find myself in characters in the books I love, and it just makes me so HAPPY when it happens 😍!

Feel free to add my if you want~ would love some more bookworm friends

I’ll be honest, I definitely don’t fit into the young adult category, but I love the way novels are written for younger people, and I’m a teacher so I use that as my “excuse”, mostly to my husband, for why I read young adult so much! I’m a huge fan of the Ember in the Ashes series, anything Marie Lu writes, and of course, pretty much anything with magic in it!

Hi! I just read this amazing new book called The Commoner by Kriti Avirneni. It just released on Amazon 3 days ago! It's short, but great. Check it out.

I love to read YA Fiction. It was a huge leap of faith for me to write a book that would appeal to all ages but was still edgy enough for my tastes. If I had to pick my very favorite YA book, it would be "James and the Giant Peach". As a child, I read it at least 30 times. I know this because Dolores, the librarian at my tiny public library, had to replace the checkout card twice.
As an adult I haven't really read anything more than once. I think that must just be a kid thing.
My advice to aspiring writers? Get your grammar in shape. I was forced to diagram sentences in my youth, and I found it incredibly tedious at the time. Now it's the one thing that lets me know when a semicolon should replace a comma, or when a prepositional phrase has mixed modifiers. The dreaded/beloved book: Warriner's English Grammar and Composition.

I love Sarah J. Maas, Marie Lu, Rick Riordan, Adam Silvera, Maggie Stiefvater, Adam Silvera & a lot more again.
I can't wait to find good reads and good friends here!

It's far too hard to decide on one favorite book and one favorite author. If I was going to classic route, I would pick Vladimir Nabokov. As for more modern, that's a tough one. Hester Fox is up there this year for sure. Anything written by Madeline Miller, Gail Carriger, and Leigh Bardugo are all instant reads for me!

I reread The Mortal Instruments series early last year and discovered a whole new world of YA that I fell in love with.
I am currently obsessing over the ACOTAR series and am looking for more things like it. I've recently been recommended The Fifth Season and I am hooked on that as well.

I'm Andy, 21 and I just found out about the groups here at goodreads. This will definitley take my book obsession to a whole new level!!
I love reading dystopian, fantasy and sci-fi YA novels and I'm super excited about meeting people here who feel the same about books as I do.
My favourite series at the moment are the ToG series by Sarah J. Maas and the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. And basically anything written by Cassandra Clare.

I mostly enjoy fantasy, romance and some thrillers here and there but lately I am trying on new genres and I am definitely enjoying it .I love to talk about books .
My favourite book...ahh so many but some that came on top my mind are Harry Potter ,Illuminae files(yet to get on the third book though),Vicious and the list goes on..

I'm a new author, who's been writing for a while, but only just now have worked seriously to publish a couple of books. One of which, Between the Veil, which was a pretty big departure from my usual style of writing, seeing as it's in first person. The other, a YA Fantasy novel with multiple character perspectives.
Anyway, enough of that.
I love to write, and talk about favorite books, manga, shows, or whatever else. I'm always looking to try out new genres, and I'm hoping to maybe exchange reviews with fellow new authors, or others seeking to exchange ideas.
Feel free to drop a comment. I'll do my best to try and keep up and connect!

I love to read and write (not an official writer, I just like to write out stories and maybe one day I'll publish something :) ). I love to talk about books and I am curious which your favorite is!
If you wanna talk, reply and we'll get in touch!

I would absolutely love books recommendations and discussions about them <3

My name's Fabiana and obv I love YA, even though I was slightly out of age when I discovered them XD
Among my favorite YA authors there are Suzanne Collins, Rick Riordan, Scott Westerfeld, Tomi Adeyemi... (not sure if all of them can be classified YA but still)
Happy to meet you all and looking forward to find out more to read and share!

I'm Fatima and I'm from India.
I am new to this so probably don't have much to say.
I love reading and looking forward for some good recs from you people.
Add me if you want to talk.

I find it so hard to pick a favourite book but I love Sky in the Deep, The Infernal Devices and DOSAB. Pretty much any YA fantasy will suit me, so hoping to pick up some recs from this group.

Hope to receive some recommendations from this group and participate in group discussions. Happy reading!
