Introduce Yourselves HERE!

This is my first group I'm joining so far as I'm still newer to Goodreads.
My love for reading started at a young age with R. L. stone's Goosebumps book as a kid.
YA books have continued to be my favorite for some time now and I can't wait to do some of the reading challenges in this group.

Feel free to add me as a friend - I love seeing and discussing what other people are reading.

Also, I have two other GR groups that I recommend to all you young writers!
https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...
This is a group for song artists, it's super fun, complete with games and competitions, and, of course, winners!

This is a group for beginning authors a group where we just write. We have creative writing prompts, do some collaborative writing, writing activities, fun contests, venting, and more! And if you are looking for tips or help, there's that, too!
Lots of polls, activities, fun, and beyond that!

Hi Heather! My name is Cassie and I also work at a library! It really is awesome, isn't it?! Love for cooking and YA? We could definitely be friends.

I am obsessed to YA books. I had a book hangover for ACOTAR trilogy. I really liked The Ravens cycle books too and I am planning to read the Throne of Glass after Christmas. What I like the most is that it makes me dream when I am reading. It makes me feel so much emotions and everything is possible. The stories in YA books makes me forget the real world.
:) Bye!

Things you should know about me:
I'm blind, I'm from South Africa, I am addicted to coffee and jelly teddy bears, my favourite genre of music is powermetal, my favourite movie is Cool Runnings and Kingdom of Heaven. I have way too many favourite books to mention here, but some of them are: All the Harry Potters, Throne of Glass, all books by Leigh Bardugo, all Tamora Pierce books, all Mercedes Lackey books, the lux series by Jennifer l. Armentrout… okay I'll stop now. If you want to check out my author profile you can go here:

I'm not really sure where to start participating in this group. If someone could please point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it. :)

I love YA Romance & Science Fiction with romance :)
I also like to read outside that bubble occasionally!

I'm Rita. My favorite book is It's Not Me, It's You by Stephanie Kate Strohm. My favorite author is either Keira Cass or J.K. Rowling.

I´m Aly. Nice to meet you!! :D
Thanks for letting me be part of this group! I´m having so much fun reading the topics and discussions. I`m looking forward to start reading with you next year!
I can´t think of a favorite Author or Book but I love Series so much! Especially the ones that are roman-fleuve novels! So if you have any suggestion, please let me know!!
Read you around!

I am 28 and recently got back into reading after being in a slump for a few years. YA Fantasy/Sci Fi is my favorite reading genre, I'm also a big fan of historical and supernatural Romance. I do tend to prefer my stories to have somekind of romantic element even if it is not the main focus. I am also a big fan of anime, manga and Japanese or Korean webcomics. I have an entire bookshelf dedicated to strictly manga. I'm interested in getting more involved with the bookish community and look forward to making new friends in the group.
Favorite Book: Cress
Favorite Author: Marissa Meyer

I am a voracious young adult books reader and that's the majority of what I read.
My favorite authors are Cassandra Clare, Markus Zusak, Jennifer Niven and Dan Brown just to name a few. My favorite books are The Book Thief, The Infernal Devices series, The Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons and City of Bones (obviously).
Thank you for having me ;)

Thanks for sharing!
Anyway nice to meet so many nice people 😊

Hey, I'm Grace! I almost always read YA. I don't have a favorite book- it would be impossible to pick. My favorite authors are Cassandra Clare and James Patterson. Hope I can contribute to this group!!

I’ve only read City of Bones. Do they get better and better as it goes on?

Yes! There's also The Infernal Devices series after that and it kind of explains the backstories of some characters that are introduced later on. I definitely think you should continue the series!

Hi, I'm Natalia Rose Wolfman. I can never choose what my favorite book is but it's a tie between IT by Stephen King and The Outsiders, though I'm mostly a horror geek. My favorite author though has to be Stephen King, his descriptions are fabulously written.

Welcome Natalia. :) I've read Pet Semetry from Steven King and really enjoyed it. Do you have any recommendations as to what other books of his I should try? :)

It really just depends on what you're looking for but if you just want to read some of his works, I'd recommend IT since IT is one of my personal favorites.

As of December 25,2019 I have currently started Renegades by Marissa Meyer. Merry Christmas!

Please feel free to add me I don't have any friends who enjoy reading and I need people to discuss books with!

I love reading/writing YA , Fiction, Fantasy, Crime, History and Psychology books.
I look forward to getting to know you all and reading some of your work! I hope you like my own too!
Hope you all are having a great year so far !

I love, love, love to read, in fact, to be able to sleep at night I need to read a little bit (which it's a problem when I get house from partying at 6am 😂).
I think my favourite author changes when I read new books, but I adore Leigh Bardugo (Six of Crows is a delight), Marissa Meyer, Morgan Rhodes and Holly Black.
I usually read YA (duh), romance and fantasy.
I'm so excited to join my first group and meet new people =)

Hi! My name is Ally and I'm 16. I'm really excited to join this group. TBH I can't pick a favorite book, but I love anything by Marie Lu or Cassandra Clare. I love the Shatter Me series, the Matched series, and am obsessed with Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. I love pretty much any YA Fantasy books.

I love to read young adult fiction, romance stories, funny and quirky stories, crime fiction and true crime. The crime books are mostly because of my interest in forensic science. I am a third year Forensic Science student in Amsterdam, one more year until I have my degree!
So that’s me!

I have always gravitated towards young adult books, but also recently discovered a genre called new adult (I apologize if thats wrong!) that I'm learning to love to, as it's more so college age reads!
My favorite series of all time is Harry Potter, and I mainly am pulled towards romance books, however, since starting an account on goodreads, I have found challenging myself with different books and genres has been fun! Some of the book series I have enjoyed is The After Series by Anna Todd, The Field Party Series by Abbi Glines, any of Jenny Han's books, and the Pretty Little Liars series by Sara Shepard.
I have been a member for about 5 years, but didn't realize there were groups on here until recently, so I am excited to pick a new book each month to discuss with all of you!
