If you are considering setting up a blog tour or you simply don't know what that means, check out this blog post. You can follow the tour here or visit any of the blogs on the tour:

Carol | 2 comments Virtual book touring is expensive unless you do-it-yourself. By request, I have released a $6.95 e-book, How to Organize a Virtual Book Tour. If you order the e-book, I'll host your first tour stop on A Book Inside Blog (PR4).

Shelagh (shelaghwatkins) | 6 comments Hi Carol,

The way things are at the moment, yesterday's events had a much greater impact than the tour will have.

Yesterday, amazon added the wrong price to the anthology, Forever Friends, which is selling on amazon.co.uk at £9.99 and on amazon.com at $9.99!!!

This single mistake has produced far more sales than any sales that might result from the tour. It is an excellent example of how hard we authors have to work to make a single sale and how we are at the mercy of large conglomerates like Amazon!

Dani (danigreerauthor) | 2 comments Thought I'd weigh in since my Blog Book Tours yahoogroup class is in social marketing month right now, and we're exploring GoodReads today.

We'll start another free three-month class on May 1. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/blogboo....

My free guide is at http://quickest.blogbooktourguide.eve...

And there is a boatload of information on my blog at http://blogbooktours.blogspot.com include a one-hour interview link at Blog Talk Radio.

Once you wade through all that, you will definitely have the tools to build your own blog book tour.

And did I mention it was all free? :) My gift to the Universe.

Oh, and you can follow me on Twitter:

Beth I can vouch for Dani and her class for authors at the blogbooktours yahoogroup. I've learned quite a bit from my participation and I'm actively planning my blog tour now.
