Mix up of two authors with the same name

There are two authors called Kate Thompson.
(1) is a YA author
(2) writes chicklit

Some copies of several books by (2) have been attributed to (1) and I can't see how to correct it (it came up because I searched for The Kinsella Sisters by (2).

I've corrected "Sex, Lies and Fairytales" and "The Kinsella Sisters", the only ones I've been able to check. If there's any other, please, write the book.

There are about 5 Kate Thompsons, that have already been disambigutated you can see these using the similar names function

Luci, we disambiguate authors by adding a space between their first and last names.

How do I change a bio to include an initial but not so that it loses data for the non-initialled author?
There are two Michael O'Hanlons -
Michael E. O'Hanlon is a foreign policy analyst
Michael O'Hanlon is an anthropologist
All the books remaining under Michael O'Hanlon's bio page http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...
are for the anthropologist Michael O'Hanlon, but the bio is actually for Michael E. O'Hanlon. Thanks for your advice.
