Any idea what is going on?

I believe "read by" means he is the voice for that audiobook

I looked up the first book and the person is listed as the narrator of the audiobook at WorldCat. I'm just seeing an inconsistency in how the narrator role is described.

When I add an audiobook I use the description on the box... which more often than not says "Read by" rather than "narrator" or "narrated by"

You will find that Narrator or Reader are both common throughout GR and it was decided long ago that both were acceptable.

There were threads about this but probably 2009/10.
