Vampire Academy question

I think it was the characters that made me love the series so much and made me keep reading. The plot was awesome too, but it was the characters that did it for me.

The premise was really good although the real obsession began from ending of book 3. I like strong female lead and rose was so cool.

It was all the secondary characters that kept me so interested in reading, that along with the storyline and scenes. RMead has a really good writing style. I adore these novels, but Rose annoyed the heck out of me. OMG did she. I think Adrian lucked out.. poor Dimitri, maybe he'll come to his senses when the novelty wears off.

I OBSESSED over this series for months ... "why?" is a good question. I loved the relationship between Rose and Dimitri. That "older" guy, younger-but-strong-character girl dynamic is appealing to me. I thought Dimitri was a SWOON-WORTHY character - loved him! And Mead handled it in a classy, believable way, not skeevy at all. I loved the Moroi/Dhampir mythology, the politics in their world, and the bond between Lissa and Rose. And then, Rose's quest to restore Dimitri and restore Lissa to her rightful place at court held me glued to the end of the series. Mead had lots of great smaller touches ... Dimitri's family, Rose learning about Zmey, getting to know Sydney and opening us up to the world of the Alchemists, details of court life. All in all, this is just an exceptional series, second in current YA reelases only to Cassandra Clare's "Mortal Instruments" series, in my opinion.

I love the action and romance and the characters are so amazing i could not put this book down

It creates a world that you feel a part of when you read it!

It has different views on vampires,which i really enjoyed. The characters pulled me in, there drama within the circle. Trying to figure out who Rose was goin to end up with, Or Adrian. I like the mystery behind the hardcore girl. Rose can take care of herself but, in the end i wanted to see who would be standin beside her.
