I have read this book (and the next two in the series). I really enjoyed it. What age do you think it is aimed at? I'm a primary school teacher but I think the children I teach are too young to keep up with it.

However, I read the first one and didn't think it was suitable for the lower age range. We queried it with the publisher's and they re-labelled them as "teenage". There was a little too much violence, graphic throat cutting etc to make this a primary age book series.

I checked my local bookstore and they are now shelved in their Young Adult section too.
If you're American, please spread the word of this series by request of the author!!! We need more American fans!
