Kinda. Sorta. Heh, I have really mixed feelings about this book.
*Actually rating: 4.5 stars*
Okay, first of all: can someone tell me how the potato Oliver came up with the idea, that love is a disease? Because that idea is freaking BRILLIANT! I mean, I wouldn't myself want to live in that kinda world, because to feel pain you gotta have felt happiness. Right?
When I first started Delirium, I didn't have too many expectations because a few months ago, I had read her debut novel, Before I Fall, and I still haven't come totally clean with it. However Delirium had my attention from the start and I was soon being pulled into the world Oliver had created. It didn't take so long though, before I had to force myself to focus and concentrate to read. Lena didn't really make a big impression on me in the start; she was, as she described herself, just plain normal. I was curious about Hana because in the start I almost expected it was her who'd rebel instead of Lena. But then Alex came. And just like Lena, I lived for those moments with him in the book. Alex was so... Alexly. So just like everybody else when I read the last page my vision was blurry and I almost couldn't read the last sentences. For those who haven't read Delirium yet: you need to get infected by amor deliria nervosa!

i actually dont like this book, but before you guys hit me with rocks let me explain why:
set aside the brilliant idea of making love a disease!!! i felt she did not explore indepth about the idea she created. the story took alot of effort from me to keep reading till the end and i was deeply disappoianted, however that was just my opinion :D
so what do you guys think??
