Did anyone feel bad for Adrian

What I was wondering was.... Does any one feel bad for Adrian throughout his time in the book? Let me know what you think! Thanks. :)

I felt kinda bad but I didn't really think much about him because I was so happy when Rose and Dimitri got together. It took them long enough!! But after reading Bloodlines I felt sad about him not being over Rose but I'm not a huge Adrian fan...so I was mostly rooting for Dimitri.

Very much so. he was funny, charming and, for Rose, he sought to rid himself of his bad habits. Apart from everything else, that showed me what his character was like.

He deserved a happy ending.

I didn't at first but after I reread the books I did. I love Dimitri and Rose together but I agree Adrian deserves a happy ending.

Yes I loved Adrianand I hold a little resentment for Dimitri for taking Rose from him but I the same time Dimitri and Rose were made for each other. I'm still so sad!!!!

Yes!! Definitely! I was rooting to Adrian the whole time. I was kind of disappointed when Rose and Dimitri got together.

I felt sorry for him. He was great to Rose and she just used him the whole time. He should have seen it coming of course but still, who would want to believe that the love of your life is in love with another man? I thought his denial was actually very natural.

I really did feel bad for the guy it just seemed to be case of the wrong woman at the wrong time, you can't help you love definately coming into play. I think Rose liked him and wanted very much to feel more than she did for him but in the end the feelings just weren't there and to some degree I think Adrian was aware of this. I think that although he could be arrogant he was still deep down a good guy he only drunk and smoke to keep from going crazy which is totally understandable, he was charming, affectionate and very personable. I really felt bad for him at the end of the book.

Yes! He loved Rose and she never even gave him a real chance. I don't blame her either since she was in love with Dimitri but it's just a terrible situation for Adrian.

YES! what a horrible break up. Aw, Rose you could've at least told him first. Awwwww poor Adrian!!! I mean, I love Adrian more than I love Dimitri, but Rose and Dimitri are meant to be together. That was obvious from book one. I mean in the shoes of any of the characters I wouldn't have acted much differently, but I feel so bad for Adrian D:

I didn't want Rose to end up with either Dimitri or Adrian.. I don't think she was the right fit for either of them, they each deserve more. I was always hoping someone new would suddenly pop up that was Roses perfect match.

That is a quote from LS and it's always annoyed the hell out of me. Why would you punch someone for asking that question?

If you were truly in love with someone, you wouldn't hide it or get angry if some asked you, you'd be fine with answering it. If you were truly in love with someone, you'd want to shout it from the rooftops.

Either it's an uncoincious bit of writing on RM's part or it proves that Rose was useing Adrian and didn't ever actually love him.

Or it's just Rose being an idiot...which is more likely. She is a bit of a moron. :P

Agreed! And he seemed to like Rose from the start. He never hid never, never seemed to be ashamed of it. Dimitri had to hide everything because of who he was at the school. I was sad when I thought that Dimitri had died, but at the same time she still had Adrian, so she could have still ended up happy.

Adrian was always one of my favorite characters, but it was obvious that Rose would end up with Dimitri. I'm just glad that by the time I was reading Last Sacrifice I already knew that Adrian would be one of the main characters in Bloodlines. So I didn't mind that he got a bad ending in LS.

And honestly, I never would have thought I'd ship Adrain/Sidney, but I I was a fan pretty much after their first scene together.

Yes I felt bad for him Adrian turned out to be pretty supportive and kind towards Rose. But also he knew Rose was crazy about Dimitri, so I'm sure he kind of knew Rose would pick Dimitri all the way if she was able to change him back. But yeah I wanted to hug him I felt so bad

I felt like crying when I read how heartbroken he was. He didn't deserve it, no matter how much he needed a crutch. Finding out that his mother was a criminal didn't help either, then his father kicks him out and cuts him off. Being a spirit user just multiplies all these problems too. I must admit he could find more consrtuctive ways to express his pain. When Sydney gets him into art classes it really helps. I do wish that he and Sydney get together too. I hope Sydney is more gentle though if she must eventually dump him-Rose was really cruel, no matter how bad she felt about it.

OMMMMMGGGGGGG!!! I felt so bad for Adrian. He was my absolute FAV! Rose is a terrible person for cheating on him in the first place. Thank goodness for Bloodlines, you see him progressively getting better in the series.

Yeah, I guess I felt bad for him, but I love Rose with Dimitri. But in a sense it's good he didn't end up with Rose, so he can find who really belongs with him (aka Syndey!) since Rose belongs with Dimitri.

I love Adrian and am so happy to think of him getting his HEA. I'm not reading Bloodlines until book 2 comes out because somebody told me the last line in the book and there's NO WAY I could get into that whole storyline without the follow up ready to go!

i nver liked the additional character in these love tianlges ever since bella, edward and jacob but i've love reading this one and while i adore dmitri's hotness, i felt terrible for adrian. i never realised how much he's grown on me and much h's matured as a character so even though he was with a terrible person 'Summer Ellen' but rose made him better.

@ Summer Ellen--yeah i have to agree with you about Rose not having common sense. That and she was really stubborn :P but that's part of her character. I love Rose and I love Dimitri. I loved Adrian too (more than I love Dimitri), but him and rose weren't meant to be together. Hopefully he'll find another girl.

I'm getting Bloodlines today from the library it just came in this morning! :D
