Everly Anders I know this has happened to a lot of writers out there. It has happens to me, so don't let it happen to you. Here is a step-by-step of what to do if it happens to you.

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) What I do is, email it to myself, so I have a copy on my email, which you can access in any library etc.

Dana M. Chernack (danamchernack) | 34 comments I get Carbonite. When my old computer died, it worked perfectly and it's worth (to me) fifty bucks/year to have one less worry.

This is a great idea. Losing all my stuff is one of my nightmares. I have backups on an external hard-drive & CDs and thumb drives - but what if there's a fire? So I have thumb drives I keep in a fire-proof mini-safe. Archiving it off-site is the next step...might look into Carbonite as well...
