C.S. Splitter | 979 comments Just have to share this with the other authors.

The print versions of The Reluctant by C.S. Splitter and The Willing (Crayder Chronicles #2) by C.S. Splitter will be released on Amazon and CreateSpace February 14th.

I just got the proofs today and...wow. Cambria was right. When you finally hold YOUR books in your hand, it is special somehow. It's like you are a real writer.

You feel like Pinocchio while you are writing. And editing. And when you put out the eBook. At each of those points, you get a glimpse at being a real boy...I mean, a real author. But it doesn't sink in until you are holding something made from dead trees that has your name on it.

I think there will probably be more milestones along the way (I hope there are) that give me a similar feeling, but I doubt they will live up to chasing down the UPS guy, ripping open the boxes, and seeing the colors on the covers jump out.

Like a newborn baby, I admit that I inspected them very closely and counted their fingers and toes a few times. Then I just stared at them a while.

Now, I want them to multiply lol.

Cambria (cambria409) | 3305 comments Congrats Splitter!! And I totally agree, there is nothing quite like laboring over something for so long and getting that box and practically ripping off your fingers to get into it. Holding a book in your hands is wayyyy better than holding it on a e-reader.

So glad you got your books and I can't wait to get copies of my own.

C.S. Splitter | 979 comments Yesterday, I found out that the books could be made available early through CreateSpace. So, I decided to offer them to the people who have given me encouragement and support through this whole process.

And, I figured out how to offer a discount until it is released on Amazon (not sure what the Amazon rules are after that).

If you go to http://splittersworld.blogspot.com/ the direct links to books on CreateSapce AND the coupon code is there.

Hey, I don't "expect" anyone that already has the eBooks to buy them, I just know that some people wanted them and I wanted to offer everyone a "thank you".

Pricing: We made the books as inexpensive as possible. We make the same amount on the trade paperbacks as we do on $2.99 ebooks. Before the discount, they are $8.99 and $9.99 respectively.

Seriously, thank you people on Creative Reviews for all of the support, encouragement, and advice (and FUN!) that I have gotten here since joining. This is a great place.
