Christine US (christineus) | 18 comments Hello! I am considering upgrading to the Nook tablet from my original Nook. However, I am concerned about how to get it on my account, get my items transferred, etc. Has anyone done this -- and can you walk me through the process?

I was considering an IPad2 for a long time, but the NT is definitely a better price, and seems to be just as capable...the real hold back is fear of losing everything I've already paid for or somehow not being able to move those items (and therefore needing to carry around both Nooks).

Maritza | 50 comments you just have to register the tablet with the same bn account as your first nook. Everything that is BN content will transfer automatically. However, sideloaded stuff would have to be done again unless you have it on an sd card. I have the tablet and I love it!

Michael I love my Nook color and I agree it's a better price but I think it all boils down to what you want to do with it once you have it. If you just want a reader you can play some games on then I don't think anything beats the Nook. But if you want something with a bigger screen and more options then maybe it's worth it to spend the extra money?

Christine US (christineus) | 18 comments Mainly I need something new...I dropped my Nook and broke the side, and now the left side buttons don't work. I have been thinking about an Ipad as it allows me to use the web, check email, read, and so on...but it looks like the Nook Tablet does all the same things.

Plus it's a fraction of the cost.

Sharon (basketchik) | 74 comments Christine - My daughter and I both got the Nook tablet for Christmas. My daughter has wanted one for sometime, I was just going to go with the Nook Color, but I'm so glad that Santa brought me the tablet, I just love it... and you can do so many things with it.
