Maybe I have a warped sense of humour then because I found Daemon's assholery hilarious.

Though, I'll admit, I was more than impressed to find Kat was more intelligent than most female leads these days--one who didn't swoon constantly over the guy giving her assholery grief.

Or maybe me finding Daemon hilarious has a lot to do with the fact that me & Mr B toss insults at each other on a regular basis and every time it's done with affection that just makes us laugh. I have pretty thick skin. ;o)

I'm the same I was always laughing whenever Kat and Daemon were together. I think their relationship is so great and funny. I love that she's more intelligent and not just some stupid lead who doesn't think for herself and just waits around for a guy to come get her. That's one of the reasons I loved this book most. And her, she's a book blogger which is awesome!

Oh, me & Mr B usually make up stupid insults like, Crinkle-cranker. The words aren't insulting, just the tone of voice used to say them. Then we get away with our private curses in front of the kidlets. ;o)

Kay, I think making Kat a book blogger was a HUGE win--a GREAT move--on Jennifer's behalf. After all, book bloggers are so often the first people to see copies of a book. And she'd won most of them over before it even hit the shelves, virtual or otherwise. Though Obsidian didn't need that to be popular or so widely accepted, it certainly must have helped. :o)

Yes I know. I think it's was a great thing she did especially since so many of us all over twitter were talking about it before the ARCs even went out we were so excited for a book about a book blogger to come out and everyone seems to love it.

So, I finished! Loved it! I'm going to do a review, but it will probably take me a while. I loved Kat. She was just so snarky. And Daemon. I knew he was a softy at heart that was just trying to protect himself and his sister. It killed me to find out why. There was so much depth to this book. I loved it.

The only bad thing about it is having to wait until August. Ugh!

I've already emailed her publicist who'd sending them out and I got an email back and it sounded really promising so here's hoping and preying. I know a lot of people have requested it but I'm hoping I'll get one. I have done quite a few reviews for the publishers and was on a blog tour for Entangled as well so fingers crossed.
