The intro is long enough where it might be most helpful to go intro & chap 1 together? Or perhaps treat the intro separate? What do y'all think.

yea Chapter 1 and 2 = Intro and first regular chapter.

Speaking of the Intro... What do you think? Makes me more excited to jump in. I like what he's doing and I love how he traces the intertextuality ties between OT and later OT, and OT and NT. And he does this from an evangelical perspective.

I've become more and more of an OT sort of guy in the last couple of years, so I am going to appreciate his approach here...quick question though, am I right when I am thinking Beale is an amil guy?

I'll have to check his Rev. commentary in case he gives out that info. I'd think he could be historic premil or amil, either one....

Okay, he definitely is amil. Although he prefers the designation "inaugurated millennialism".
