Edit existing or create new book

I am starting to fill in the missing covers and information on the books that I have. Should I edit the books like this with the information,

or create a new listing?

I am not sure why the "X" is entered as the author and don't want to make a mess of anything.

If the ISBN matches then update the edition with the appropiate ISBN.

The author X was added by the ingram import - it can be changed if not correct
