Use this thread for some Read-a-Likes for CINDER.

Kristine Hall (kristinehallways) For some reason, I keep thinking about the character of Rachael in Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? (which was the inspiration for the movie Blade Runner) by Philip K. Dick. It's sci-fi, it's dystopian, it's speculative, but it's definitely an adult novel.

Danis | 25 comments The Adoration of Jenna Fox by Mary E. Pearson. Much more serious in tone as far as the narration. It will keep you interested.

Tracy J Hora | 11 comments If you like the fairy tale spin-off, you might like Sisters Red and Sweetly, both by Jackson Pearce.

Tawnya | 17 comments Completely forgot about this series until I was cleaning off my bookshelves. The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor. Great new (2006) version of Alice in Wonderland.

I liked The Adoration of Jenna Fox very much - what made you think of it in relation to Cinder? I'm curious. The biomedical engineering angle?

Danis | 25 comments Kristine, yes, that's what I was thinking about. Without giving it away to others, the whole 10% thing reminded me of Cinder being Cyborg.
