A H The Thing Between U & Me by Sagar Sahu.
I think this is probably one of the most beautiful books I've ever read. If you like love stories, then don't miss this one. It's wonderful!!

Sumeetha Manikandan (sumeethamanikandan) | 31 comments I liked Judy Balan's Two Fates: Story of my divorce. A funny spoof on Chetan Bhagat's Two States.

message 53: by Som (new)

Som The Labyrinth of Time: Introducing the Universe ...not your typical Michio Kaku or Stephen Hawking book..I still treat them as fiction though!

Akshay | 1 comments Goat Days from Benyamin is a translated work which is very nicely written book.

message 55: by Ankush (new)

Ankush Saikia (ankush_saikia) | 22 comments I'd recommend The Restraint of Beasts by Magnus Mills, a former London bus driver. Surreal, deadpan mystery of sorts. Deserves to be better known in India.

Ankush Saikia (ankush_saikia) | 22 comments My posts seem to have disappeared from here? Also, to get back to the discussion, anything by W.G. Sebald, although he is a bit of an acquired taste...

please add this to Promo threads. This thread is to discuss books other than your own.

message 60: by Mita (new)

Mita Jain (mitajain) | 222 comments Well, it's not really a little known book. But, I don't see it in discussions here. I recommend Man, Woman, and Child. I loved the narration. I read it years back, and with the perspective of a young person, I hated the protagonist and his decisions. If I read it again, I'm sure it will mean a lot more.

message 61: by Vaishnavi (new)

Vaishnavi | 144 comments I found the first half of this book in my grandfather's trunk and searched bookstores for years to get hold of the complete book. Imagine my joy when I finally I found it on flipkart.
Its a Welsh tale about a silent kind of love that oft goes undeclared. A story which touches you with its simplicity .

I have his collection of stories,
Tokyo Cancelled by Rana Dasgupta

Uday Kanth (udayk) Fingersmith by Sarah Waters. I think it's a book everyone should once in their lifetime. A wonderful, wonderful book with the most unpredictable twists ever! Set in Victorian England, it tells the story of two girls brought together by deception.

Give it a try. You can thank me later :)
