The Waiting Room - Progress and Non-Spoiler Thread

Glad I'm not on my own reading it hehe :) I have some catching up to do Jo, I'm only 60% of the way through and the storyline is sort of falling into place now. It's similar in plot matter to Cottam's other books with the satanic/occult dabbling in the 20s. I think you'd like House of Souls too if you liked this one.
I'm enjoying the story and like Jo said it's an easy read and no boring bits. I hope to finish it in the next couple of days, I've booked the week off ...I'll start the Spoiler thread up very soon.

I only raced through it because it was so cold I spent the afternoon wrapped in blankets on the sofa with cups of tea and the book. I've not read any of his others but it does sound like they have a theme then, I'll look out for House of Souls then
I've started the Waiting Room and I'm almost about halfway through. It IS an easy, read, more of a fun read than anything .... but it is making me look up the poems of Wilfred Owen!
Hate to start on a negative, but I do feel a bit frustrated with the telling not showing in Mr Cottam's writing style, but nontheless the story is interesting enough to keep me turning the pages. I can't wait to find out how it all unfolds.
