Colby (colbz) This is my favorite book in the trilogy.

oh good I can't wait then! So glad I finally started this trilogy.

Grace (gdaminato) | 520 comments Now that I've finished Wake, I'm not really sure I want to continue with the trilogy. I was all set to read all three books until I go to the last quarter of the book. It lost its charm, for me, after Janie meets Fran.

Tatiana (tatiana_g) For me, Fade was the best book in the trilogy. It does take you in a different direction, it is more of a mystery/crime story, where Wake was a paranormal romance. I think it's very much worth reading if you like the first book.

Jamie Leigh | 6 comments This was the best book of the series. Finally Janie is in the middle of it all and things from the first book are expanded into a clearer understanding. I agree that the wrap up for this book was very abrupt and I wanted something more drawn out.

Leslie | 21 comments I did get sucked into the story when Janie was at the party, but I don't really like the writing style, and I thought it was annoying how Cabel just dumped Janie after the party and didn't tell her why until the end.

From what I recall, Janie didn't really give him a chance to explain. She walked away whenever he tried.

I think it ended up being kind of both of them. I agree, Janie didn't give him a chance to explain. But I don't think Cabel tried hard enough either. He could have taken other opportunities to explain.
