Rose Hathaway has fled St. Vladimir school with her best friend Lissa. Before she fled she was training to be Lissa's guardian. Now they're being dragged home to the school and if Rose wants to be Lissa's full trained guardian she's forced to train with (the very hot) Dimitri.
