I will still happily 'like' reviews, since so many of you have continued to like mine back and I appreciate it. However, I do feel the need to warn everyone here of the new GR TOS for reviewers that have been released over a week ago.Anyone interested in finding out more click Here
There are 80+ pages on this thread, but just from reading the first page, you can understand what GR has put into place (without making a site-wide announcement) and how some people in the Feedback Forum are reacting. Regardless if you agree, disagree, I feel everyone here should at least be warned that your reviews can be deleted without warning, your shelves can be deleted without warning, and even if your review and/or shelf appears to be in compliance, if GR is 'confident' your intent is malicious or snarky to an author that they will STILL delete your stuff because the can read your mind like Miss Cleo now. I doubt everyone will want to wade through all the pages; but despite continued attempts for clarification from GR, for a site-wide release of this change, most of the questions remain unanswered.
I was not affected by this new policy (yet at least) but will no longer add reviews to this site. Thank you to everyone once again that voted for my reviews. Y'all rock, and I hope you can take a moment to educate yourself and prevent this policy from affecting you and your GR data.
