I'm a big fan of Gena's and don't think I have gave her less than four stars before but unfortunately I have to start now. I'm not the biggest fan of YA novels (mostly they make me feel old!) but I have come across a few that I loved but unfortunately this was not one of them.
The story had a good premise but it all seemed to go in a daft pattern! We meet Aden at the beginning who has four souls living inside his head and when he steps foot in a graveyard they rise and try to kill him. Why this happens isn't explained and that really irritates me.
We meet new charaters as the story goes on but to be honest the only one worth mentioning is Riley and I loved him for the aggresion and great wit!
I don't think I would go actively out of my way to read any more of this series unfortunately :(

Suzanne is it The Graveyard Book because I can't find Graveyard Ghosts by this author :)

I'm hemming and hawwing over this one. I'll come back later with a decision. :)

The story opened in the perfect way. I loved every bit of the action and of course, it had one of my most favorite things in it-a kick ass, smart mouthed heroine. I did not like Bones right away. But gradually, he became awesomer and awesomer. Another thing which always tips the scales for me is good humor and this book had that down pat. I also loved Spades and would want to read more about him and meet Ian. There was no one big bad wolf till the very end and I liked that-it made the story more interesting. Oh and I hated the mom's guts like I was supposed to. It was only the too-typical ending that kept me from rating this book 4 stars.

I saw the new shelf too, most likely it will be the next Night Huntress novel but I need to finish the current one for the free space first.

Yep, that's fine Suzanne :)

I enjoyed this book a lot more than the first one. The world is a little hard for me to get my head around, but I enjoyed the love story. It reminds me a lot of the J. R. Ward series.

The 4th book in the exhilirating Night Huntress series took quite a different turn from the previous books. Cat is no longer commanding her team of special agents, however, she's got another problem - an old lover from a past she never knew claims to be her real husband and will stop at nothing to steal her away.
That's a cause for concern for Cat and Bones, and the passionate couple are constantly at each other's throats in this book - literally. So much so, that I found it quite difficult getting past the first 60% of the book. In fact, the book is filled with so much angst, self-loathing, and regret that it was quite uncomfortable to read.
Thankfully, the supporting characters really step in to save the day. Mencheres, Vlad, Spade and newly found ghost Fabian are all intriguing characters who have a place in the Night Huntress universe. I look forward to the Night Huntress world spin-offs to read a little more about these characters.
The last quarter of the book definitely did redeem the whole book for me. It was filled with lots of sex & sizzle, ultimate action-packed duels and twists as expected from Jeaniene Frost. Frost is masterful in how she weaves a story together, always keeping you on the edge of the seat to find out what happens next.
