That is exactly how I feel. I'm going to read it again soon, and maybe I might understand and like a bit more, but don't get me wrong, THG is incredible!

It didn't take me a long time to finish, but I found myself getting pretty bored with it. Also, the ending really shocked me. Killing Prim and Finnick felt to me like it was just pointless and the author was doing it only to kill more people. Maybe she was getting the point across more clearly that Katniss was in pain with all of her loss, but I don't think she needed to kill her sister. I didn't enjoy it as much as Catching Fire and The Hunger Games. And I was disappointed to see Katniss end up with Peeta. I love Peeta, and he's my boy, but honestly--their relationship was forced, and all the time she was honestly trying to get back to Gale and blah blah blah--it just annoyed me how Suzanne Collins decided to do that. To be honest, I liked Peeta more than Gale, but I do feel as though Gale was the one who was meant to be with Katniss. Sorry, long post--Just needed to get that opinion out (:
