I'm currently reading "Reckless Game" by Christine Feehan and LOVING it!! Love her GhostWalker series!
I just finished reading Silver Sparrow by Tayari Jones and enjoyed the book quite a bit. I loved the tone of the writing, and although the ending left me sad, I enjoyed the stories of the two girls in the book.
I just finished Murder on the Ghost Walk. It's a quick and easy cozy mystery. This is the first book in the series, which is set in a small town down on Cape Fear. The sleuth in this series is an historic Preservationist who specializes in restoring historic homes. Appearantly, from what I've read, each of the houses that she works on has a "real" ghost in it. Since I love 1) cozies, and 2) ghosts I figured this would be a winner. Liked this first book. Now I just need to see if the rest of the series is any good.
I am currently reading
, loving this book, it is taking me a month to read - but very good book.also listening to
- my first book by this author - this is a short one - and basically it is about the closing of a restaurant and the lives of the employees that are working there - pretty good so far.

I am starting The Historian now.
Finished Moon Child and Christmas Moon Christmas Moon by J.R. Rain gonna start A Little Harmless Sex
I just finished The Girl Who Played With Fire by Stieg Larsson but didn't think it was as good as The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo. Next will be a Kindle read.
I reading
,
, and
which I hope to finish most if not all by the end of the month. Also just started
, am reading
with my Mum, and am listening to
as an audiobook. lol
I've just discovered Kwei Quartey and am listening to his mystery set in Ghana called Wife of the Gods. It is really different to read a mystery set in what is to me an exotic setting. I'm listening to it on audio and enjoying the rhythm of the African language.
I've been reading
. I'm enjoying it. I would recommend it to people who like magical realism/fairy tale type books.
Currently reading
and hope to get through it today, since I'm home (on vacation, of course) and sick with a sore throat. Who needs TV when you have a great book?
I am almost finished with
and halfway finished with
.I loved Eragon and the other books in the series but it seems to be taking me a lot longer to get through Inheritance.
I'm currently reading Not Without My Sister: The True Story of Three Girls Violated and Betrayedand The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
My goal is to read 20 books this year. It's not a lot, but it's a start.
it doesnt matter what your goal is, reading it reading...the most recent stat i heard is that the average american only finishes 11 books a year ;)
by William Landay. I have a son in middle school that I'm going to start watching like a hawk- this book is really scary if you're a parent of a kid in middle school.
by Kevin Hearne- I've resisted reading this series. Plus, I just have pretty much stopped reading urban fantasy type books that weren't written by favorite authors. But, I started this series last week and can't stop. Book 4 comes out in a few weeks.
Shay - i have the kevin hearne series on the pile - i think i need to elevate it because i keep hearing awesome things about it

I think one of my complaints with the whole UF genre is that a lot of the books are overly dark and serious. This one has humor in it.
ok - i'll see...i have another book that i got told i had to start...lol! ahh the joys of having too much to read
Have finished both
and
this weekend.Now starting
on my iPad and
on audiobook for my commuting pleasure.
Sally - i'll be interested on your thoughts about EL&IC - I did the audiobook earlier this year and enjoyed for another group read, but others who read it didn't like it as much
I just finished "Matched", have "Crossed" on reserve at the library, and while I am waiting I am going to read "Hearts in Atlanta."
I've been on a real reading roll for the last two months. I have a new system going. I listen to one book in my car and home while doing things around the house. I read an e book on my I PAD and a conventional book for those times when I don 't want to bring my I PAD. I alrady lost one so I am really neurotic about the new one.So what am I reading now - I just finished listening to Fade Away by Harlan Coben. He is one of my fave authors but previous to the last few months I only read his stand alone books. Now I am rading the Myron Bolitar series and think the main character is great. Later today I will pick up another title from the library. My e book is The Orchid House by Lucinda Riley which is historical fiction. My conventional book is another HF book The Bungalow by Sarah Jio and in some respects this book is similar to The Orchid House.
I finished listening to Fade Away by Harlan Coben. I find I really must pay atttention to his books every minute becauswe they're so convoluted that by the end I sometimes need to go back and listen to the ending again.

Saw the movie (which I also loved) and had no idea about so much of the backstory of the characters! OMG - now it makes so much more sense! I'm about 1/3 of the way through the audiobook, but it travels on my commute (70 minutes total) each day, and now, because I'm enjoying it, it's going with my on my running workouts (about 90 minutes, 4x/week), so I anticipate being done next week! I'll let you know!
Chynna wrote: "Currently reading To Kill A Mockingbird. Really good, so far!"I didn't read this until a couple of years ago. It is really a good book. Loved Scout.
Im reading a bunch of different books now. The Help and the first Infernal Devices...but I need to find some good (free) books *le sigh* college
In the middle of two right now. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and No Man's Land by William Fairchild. Both are going by pretty slow but I will get through them eventually. They are both very short (under 200 pages) I just can't seem to focus on them
