evie (ecie) | 4437 comments How about in Sydney? What is the political climate there? Do those from Melbourne or Cairns think that you Sydnians are all a bunch of leftist hippies, for example?

Sydneysiders and Melbournians adore each other. There is a bit of friendly rib tickling, and name calling . We love to entertain the tourists. Sydneusiders are always raving on about the opera house ,the fabulous beaches and the beautiful harbour. We love to fly to Melbourne for a weekend of great shopping , moody weather and delicious Italian food.!

I only know one person who lives in Cairns. She loves it! She knows how to avoid stingy things in the water and she never walks her dog where the crocodiles play. She also looks great in skimpy shorts and singlet tops.

I have included a picture of The Luna Park entrance for Melbourne and Sydney. Luna Park is just for fun!

Ok I get it, the train leaving Des Moines is going toward Omaha and the train leaving Dubuque is going toward Illinois or therabouts, they don't meet.

message 116: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

They would stop at the Pacific and Atlantic oceans respectively. Assuming the train tracks went that far.

Gail: What is your favorite color? If you walk into a gelato shop do you go for the rich and chocolatey section or the light and fruity section? do you prefer a cup or a cone?

Jammies: When eating brains, do you prefer the animal or the human variety?

At the moment we have Colgate. I prefer the white mint flavoured toothpaste and I loathe the medicinal flavoured variety. I frequently clean the lid and the opening of the tube .My toothbrush must be soft and of a basic shape. I would never use one that had a tongue scraper.

Do you floss? If so, do you like waxed or unwaxed, mint or unflavored?

What do you do as far as medicine when you have a sore throat? Do you gargle salt water, suck on lozenges, or eat asprin?

When you drive do you experience what us Yanks refer to as "road rage" or do you use the time to practice mindfulness and deep breathing techniques?

Do you like to wear socks to sleep?

message 149: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments First of all why would you slap the pitcher out of my hand, it was to help celebrate you. (You have made me waste a lot of digital alcohol the last few days)

Secondly, why would you think I was not celebrating you, aren't we all just your minions?

message 150: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments Jim wrote: "Secondly, why would you think I was no..."

Hmmph! I am no one's minion. :P

Sally, you can join him behind the ficus to celebrate you with margaritas. I'm sure he won't mind sharing.

Jim, you cannot be appalled at me. Sally, you should not encourage Jim to be appalled at me... or else
(I'll bring the bear face back).
