I don't remember exactly, but I wouldn't be surprised. I found that book loathsome.
I should say, when I joined Goodreads I started out using the ratings as they were described: one star meant I didn't like it, two meant I found it indifferent, three meant I liked it, four meant I found it very good, and five meant it was so good it made my head explode. Since then I have noticed that most people seem to have a scale about one higher, but I'm not sure what to do about that. I would still give the Malleus Maleficarum one star even if the scale were higher, though.
If others can see my ratings and I can't, I'm less worried. It sounds like they truly are still there, just not at the moment visible to me. It's entirely possible the trouble is at my end; I'm going to try emptying my browser cache etc. Given the craziness swirling around right now because of Amazon's Wednesday deadline, I shouldn't be distracting people here.

We're going to rebuild all that stuff after the database settles down a bit, probably on tuesday.

By the way, can somebody please tell me where this thread is? I posted it in "general," thought better of it and hoped to move it to "questions," but discovered I couldn't find it on the Librarians board. I've been accessing it through my updates page. Where / how did y'all find it?
I still have a ratings average on my profile page, which gives me some comfort. And it shows the last few books I gave ratings to, with their ratings. But when I go to my bookshelves, there's nowt; when I look at a book's page my rating is empty, although other people's ratings show up; and on Listopia my books ratings are empty.
I tested a book I'm the only one who rated (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/27... ), and its average rating is, I believe, what I gave it.
It looks like my ratings are in the system, still, somewhere, but I can't see them.
So ... given that the whole system is in an upheaval right now, no thanks to Amazon, and given that I'm willing to bet everyone with any knowledge of the system is working their piccolos off right now to fix things ... should I even try to muck with my ratings, or should I wait for the dust to settle and see what's what then?
