I'm not sure if it happened before or after chapter 15 (I'm at 26) so, I thought to be safe I'd just post here. (view spoiler)[In a chapter before death appears as a character, the Uncle (whose name I cannot fathom how to spell, because I'm listening to the book,) talks about including death. And I had one of those, aha moments. I think, (though it's too early to say, ) that this is the author pointing a flashing arrow at the uncle's part in not only Elegant's death, but all the deaths that might follow. (hide spoiler)]

I guess we'll see if that turns out to be true. If not, after we're all done reading you can come back and point and laugh at this post.

I just read the chapter written from a coin's point of view. ^__^ What an interesting narrator! I'm surprised I haven't bumped into the same thing elsewhere.

I found Pamuk very unique and inventive. Beautiful writing.
