Continue the Story

[Arushi]

"Bye," they called to each other, simultaneously, and laughed.

[Katherine, the awkward one]

Jordan walked up to the porch of her house soon, and digging the key, that miraculously stayed put for the series of events that day, from her pocket, slid it into the door lock, turning the lock, then pushed the door open. She almost screamed when blocking the arc of the door was something on the floor: her unconscious mother.

[Arushi]

Oh my god, Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god...Jordan couldn't think, and she immediately called 911.

[Katherine, the awkward one]

"Hello? Please send an ambulance, my mother's unconscious on the floor. No, I don't know, I walked in just now and she was just...laying there!" Jordan tried not to scream into the receiver.

[Arushi]

Jordan nervously bit her fingernails, and waited for the ambulances to show up, and in minutes, they did.

[Arushi]

As soon as the paramedics, shocked her once, she was alive and well, "What are you doing?!" she asked, "I was just a little, er, high, and crashed..."

[Arushi]

Brent opened the door for Jordan and smiled when he saw her.

[Katherine, the awkward one]

Brent, motioned for her to stay where she was, closing the door and Jordan could hear him yell at someone in the house, probably his mother, then came outside closing the door behind him.

He suppressed a laugh at her florid expression, capturing her hand in his, tugging her gently down the path to the sidewalk while Jordan playfully punched him in the shoulder with her free hand.

[Arushi]

Finally, Brent broke the silence to say, "Hi, Jordan."

[Arushi]

"I'm glad you're here," he told her.

[Arushi]

((wow, its changed to something...sorta NORMAL!))

Brent covered Jordan's hand with his and said, "Want to go somewhere?"

[Katherine, the awkward one]

(I know right?!! Just hope Elizabeth doesn't pop back in to scramble things up again...she hates boringness apparently..)

"Sure. Where to?" Jordan replied cheerfully, looking up at Brent who had a thoughtful look on his face.

[Arushi]

"I think I know just the place, let's go," he said taking her hand and walking through the neighborhood.

[Arushi]

Breathless from running around, they came to a clearing and sat on the warm green grass.

[Katherine, the awkward one]

For a few minutes they just looked up at the clouds floating by, but then it struck Jordan, that it was becoming a bit boring, so came up with the perfect idea: Truth, or Dare.

(haha I couldn't think of anything and I thought this might become interesting what they might do)

A wide grin spread over Brent's face and Jordan could visualize flames dancing around in his eyes as he boldly said, "Dare."

Laughing, Brent bent over and carefully picked a normal-sized clean blade of green grass, then with determination stuffed it in his mouth, chewing thoughtfully.

[Katherine, the awkward one]

Jordan made a gagging gesture and Brent bumped her with his shoulder saying, "Hey! It's your turn, truth or dare?"

[Arushi]

"Truth," she said, shyly.

[Arushi]

"What?" Jordan asked, smiling, "Stop looking at me like that!"

[Arushi]

"With that, 'I have an idea' look!" Jordan yelled at him with a smile.
