Hijacking

Do you agree with Peeta being hijacked? If you could choose any character in the book to be hijacked, who would it be?

I mean you kind of have to agree with it, it's in the book, and it happened, but I think it would have been neat if they showed a little more detail about what happened, and if it ever wore off, like when he married Katniss, did he ever have like outbursts or something?

i think in the epilogue, they said that he still has flashbacks and has to hold on to the back of a chair. but i would have chosen prim to be hijacked. have more of an effect on katniss.

Oh yeah, I do remember that. Awww Prim, I think if they did that Katniss could have had more strength to fight back more, but until someone told her about Peeta, she had no clue what was going on when he was talking to everyone. At least Prim died somewhat a non-painful death, she didn't really have to suffer, I would have rather died that way than be tortured.

I don't like how Peeta was hijacked; he was never really the same person in the end. And if I were to hijack someone.....hmmm idk :)

It was really sad that Peeta got hijacked, and everyone said that he was never himself again, I think he was.
