SELF PROMOTING RULES: Please read before posting!

If your an author and have written a book, let us know!

GoodReads is all about sharing books, including those that you've written. I have no problem with authors making posts to promote their books and that's great but a few rules need to be established.
1. If you want to promote your book, you must be involved in the group. If you join just to promote your book and do not enter discussion, you are spamming. If a self-promotion topic is posted and the author has not participated in any discussion, or has posted only the most cursory of comments, her topic will be deleted. If the author repeatedly posts self-promotion outside of the proper folder (i.e. in unrelated topics), the posts will be deleted. The moderator reserves the right to remove members who post spam comments without warning.

It is simply rude to join just to share your books and we'd really appreciate it if you joined, participated and promote your books. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to send me a message.
