1.- I'm 13 & I dislike candy.
2.- I'm fond of rainy days. I love to curl up with a book and a cup of hot chocolate + marshmellow + slow music, something like Passenger or Ed Sheeran.
3.- I hate and find books with long descriptions boring and dull.
4.- I love to watch movies. I'm fond of Sherlock Holmes. (And the TV series too)
5.- My favorite food is tacos, then pasta, and sushi.
6.- One of my dreams is to travel all around the world. The other one is to have as many free books as I want to, but the first one is more likely.
7.- I'm the oldest one of 3 children.
8.- Sometimes I prefer books to people.
Actually, I got excited with this and added 3 more than what I had to. Yeah, I'm weird...

It's been incredibly hard. I'm so glad that I found this site because it gives me something to look forward to. I'm grieving and I need the peace that reading and this place gives me. Some days are harder than others, and I feel like I see him everywhere. I'm just trying to stay positive. Hate to be a downer, but that's currently my life.
I felt that way when I lost my parents. Reading is an escape and if you need to talk we're here to help you through it:)
Oh, Amanda, I'm sorry for your loss.My four favorite things are tv shows, food, my bed and of course books.
I probably spend most of my time in YouTube when I'm not doing anything that has to do with the things below.
I wish I had a Netflix account.
I actually never get sick, but when I finally do, it's big and it feels very bad.
Last but not least The Hunger Games were the books that made me read more.

3.)I am more addicted to pop and sugar than anyone I know! I'm not even overweight or anything which is surprising because junk food makes up a huge part of my diet :(
4.) My husband was my high school sweetheart. We started dating at 16, got engaged at 17, married at 18, baby at 19 lol
5.) I love talking about books, but I honestly have hardly met any readers in real life :( Which is why I became a member on Goodreads :)

Hey everyone! This is fun! :)1. I went to university thinking I'd end up an opera singer. Turns out I love writing more.
2. I love travelling, and am slowly working my way through Europe with my husband two weeks at a time
3. The Chronicles of Narnia are the books that made me fall in love with reading
4. Walking is one of the only things that help to clear my mind

Gosh, I don't know when I'd find the time to write with 6 children. I have three and it can be a challenge. You are officially my new hero! I have 1 son and 2 girls - they're teenagers now but that doesn't make it any easier. LOL.

Love that you're making your way through Europe slowly. I'll live vicariously through you :) it's definitely my favorite continent too. Can't wait until I can visit again. So far London is my absolute favorite.

Wow, you're all so frickin interesting, what a great group! Glad I found you! I'm almost a cougar too I guess... well I'm 34 and single right now but that's probably because I write too much, and read too much (sigh)OK so five things:
1) I'm a serial traveller - I've lived and worked in London, NY, Sydney, Dubai, Bali, Argentina, and travelled most places in between!
2) I have three published travel memoirs out by HarperCollins but I'm most passionate about my new venture into new adult!
3) I call Bali my second home. The people there are so fabulous and I can't imagine writing in a nicer place. Check out Ubud, it's hippy central but blimmin brilliant for inspiration. Nothing like curling up with a book in a rice paddy cafe
4) I think cheese for every meal is quite acceptable. Sometimes wine too. Although I wouldn't put wine on cornflakes (probably)
5) I once met Rihanna who told me I was cute, but she didn't reply to any of my messages after that. (just kidding) (or am I?)

My super power...it's quite interesting. I have the innate ability to read people - rather quickly. I don't have to speak to them nor them to me. I just have to see them. I don't look at social class, gender, or ethnicity - I look at people's eyes and body language. But I've always been spot on, even as a child. I would warn people, "I don't think that this is a good person." And I'd get a blank stare or a "how do you know?" I'd shrug. "I just do." LOL. I'm not joking but I am a writer, remember.
