The epilogue seemed like it skipped their marriage and just talked about their kids...I think the marriage would have been important part in the epilogue.

Please let them be married, for the sake of stable family relationships...
Wow! Never thought about that...I guess I just assumed that they were married. I agree with you, Snickerdoodle...please let them be married.
*runs off to start writing* BRB. By the way, how do you think they'd marry if religion is never mentioned?

And I think it says in CF that they sign a cirtificate and then do the toasting....(if that happened after the rebellion...)
But yes...please PLEASE let them be married!

Like in the civil war slaves would jump over a broom- there wasn't a church.

I believe so. haha...But this time it wasn't forced! I think if she included it, it would seem...fake? Not as real as we imaginged. I invisioned a simple toasting, far different from what the Capitol would of made them have.

i don't think it mentions them actually getting married. but they probably did eventually. plus, having kids before marriage is a big no-no.
oh i just always assumed they were married... but I would have liked to have read about their wedding. I kinda want to read about something from Peeta's POV too.

Yeah......Glad they didn't include it.

It would've been too artificial and sappy like Collins was catering to all those die hard romance lovers who can't settle with action and violence and a little bit of romance. Don't get me wrong, I think romance adds some spice to a story but I don't think it should be the whole and main genre or overshadow the other elements. I think it's almost neccessary for romance to be in a book but as a minor element.
Romance gets way to overplayed. And it's exactly the same thing in every book. Boy wants girl, boy gets girl, boy loses girl, boy sometimes gets he back. And then there's the love triangle aspect.

It's annoying.
It's annoying.
I think romance should be used sparingly. I think the less it's used the more of a... say novelty it is. I think it's more special and important when it's not overtaking the whole book. Does that make sense?
Me too...Although I'm sure I'd stink at it! A litte romance, but if it's the main focus it's boring.
Seriously. It's so... what's the word... where you suspect everything... wow, brain fart. Help me out?
Don't worry I've never had a boyfriend and don't plan on having one for a long time. I am sooo picky. I have a whole hubby bucketlist of requirements.

That's good. I'd recommend adding about 50 more requirements to that list.

K, I'll have to post it in the chat room. Or at least some of them. No! My bucketlist is better (Number 76. Tip a Cow #24 Drive a Hurse, etc)
