Haru shook her head, snapping out of it and looked at him >what do you mean?< she looked around >where are we?I dont remember anything past smelling that weird smell<

She started to shift back, but for some reason couldnt. Her brow furrowed as she tried again, but she kept phasing back to wolf halfway through.

Haru was about to reply when she pricked her ears as she heard a sound and lifted her head.

Somer tightened his arms around her. "What is it?"

"Haru, NO! We don't even know what it is." A honey-colored blur shot out of the trees and knocked.her out of his arms.

Mara shook out her fur and took off through the woods, following the voice that called them onward with Haru by her side.

Haru raced with Mara, ears pricked to follow the sound

The werewolf sat in the middle of a clearing, playing a special musical instrument.

Haru burst into the clearing first

Mara was right after and slid to a graceful stop. Her tail curled up over her back as she pranced closer.

The werewolf grinned as he saw the two she-wolves and beckoned them closer.

Haru moved closer to him, tail high in the air.

Her nose twitched as she sucked in his scent. >Hello.<

Mara jerked her head up in surprise, baring her fangs in a snarl.

Haru gasped >dont tell me...your-?<

>Yes, I am Daniels brother, and i will have my revenge< he growled, and raced at Haru.

Mara jumped, fastening her fangs into his shoulder and bowling him over. She grabbed his ear, ripping it to ribbons. She may be small and Beta because her brother was Alpha but she knew how to fight.

He rolled with her and threw her off, snarling. he whipped out the bone flute. he started to play it so they wouldnt be able to move.

Haru whined as she felt her limbs feel like they turned into lead. she tried to move but couldnt.

Mara pulled on the pack magic as he began to play, using it to filter out the sound. >Filthy cheater beast!<

He gave a grotesque smile and said >now, who ever said i would fight fair? that hussy sure didnt< he raced at Haru again and bowled her over. they rolled over and over as they fought. Haru yelped as she felt something sharp go into her ribs and kicked at him with her strong hind feet.

Mara jumped onto him, fastening her fangs to his throat with a growl.

Somer raced into the clearing after having followed their trail. He was still on human form and panting.

Haru was thrown away from them and landed on the ground with a whimper. A knife was in her ribs all the way up to the handle.

Daniel's brother growled and wrestled with her, angry that he his only knife was in Haru

Mara began to bit down, slowly smothering him.

"Haru!" Somer rushed to her side. He reached as if to remove the blade but stopped when he realized he could make things worse by doing so.

Daniels brother kicked out at Mara, finding it hard to breath.

Haru whimpered, her eyes filled with pain as she gasped for breath.

Mara winced when she felt a rib crack with the blow but continued to press down.

"I'm here, Haru." Somer told her gently.

Daniels brother gasped for breath, but didnt stop fighting her.

She turned her head so she could see him >it hurts.....so much pain<

"I'd take it out but I don't want to cause any internal damage." He gently pulled her into his lap.

Mara could feel his struggles getting weaker as he ran out of air.

Haru whimpered

Daniels brother tried to take one more breath, shuddered, and was still.
