The school has changed...
The students have changed...
The risks have changed...

It's a year later. A year after the terrifying war that changed everything. After the students faced Grayve and his evil dominions inside of Circus Terothex (the final showdown) the darkness was defeated, and peace was restored to Terothex.
But now a year later, everything is changed. Lacey, Daunt, and Dusk set out to save everybody, and while it's evident they made a change, they're nowhere to be seen. Well, except for Lacey ofcourse, who's back at Terothex, but is writhing with grief, unsure of everything, and wondering why she has heartache even though she forgets the whole past year. The darkness looms, there's still a dark prescene within the school, things are dark, secrets are still wild.
The search party members are all gone, they're nowhere to be seen, and with the forest being so dangerous, nobody can dare look for them. Reggie, cursed with a monster inside of him, is sick, and very changed. The whole school, even though evidently safe, has a different feel in the air.

And now, the students are realizing that their friends and teachers may be the very people who are the true enemies. They're realizing that there's an even bigger reason that everybody is missing from the school, and that if they're to survive, they may need the dissapeared ones's help. And they're also realizing that within their school are powerful and dark secrets, and that a hunt against time for magic, destiny, and power has begun. The secrets may be right beneath their feet...

Because as we all know...the darkness never truly fades, does it?
