Diacritic in Book's Title: To Use or Not Use

I added a book that uses a diacritic in its title because that is the official title. Some time later, someone "renamed" the title to remove the diacritic and librarian-noted saying this will make searching for book easier. Should I leave it alone or reversed the "renaming"?

Because I don't know. On one hand, I like Goodreads' data to be accurate as possible. On the other, I like Goodreads to be searchable as possible. Which is right?

Well the librarian who changed it is the author so probably best to leave it.

In that case, yeah.

You could put the title with the diacritic in the Original Title spot, though.
