I wish they'd do the same with 'Swallow the Moon' which has stalled, but hey, a sale is a sale.

I'm afraid to look - but I should.

I've only had 1 borrow - so I don't think I'll re-enroll anything in KDP. However - the "sale" (free) days have been pretty amazing. Last night I had 19 sales of Out of the Dungeon for the month (still better than 0), but not even 24 hours later it's up to 256. I've only promoted it on FB and Twitter. So - while I'm not happy to be exclusive to Kindle, the exposure really is pretty amazing.

My pairings are all over the map, must have been the timing of my free days on Select.

For some odd reason it seems to sell well at $3.25. Sony always rounds up to the nearest .99.

Apple also insist you price at 99c. There is a whole branch of interdisciplinary studies where motivational psychology meets pplied microeconomics called Threshold Pricing. The principle is that people perversely see $2.99 as more related to $2 than $3, but £3.00 as over the threshold of perception.

I love spending time with mine, and wish I could find more. We always have a good time together.

Rebecca, you must be so excited! With my dd2 and only granchildren half-way round the world, I cram in as much quality time with them as I can. Two more days here in Ozz and there will be mega tears at our parting...

My eldest heads off to university in the city in two weeks. It's not so far away that he can't come home for weekends if he wants to, but I'm still looking forward to it about as much as having teeth pulled.
It's just as well that my wife is a good parent as I'm not... As I said to someone who congratulated me on my son's wonderful manners, "It's not hard being a superior parent. Just marry the right woman and let her get on with it."
Of course, looking around at the broken marriages and families, the trick is finding the right woman...

I was just going to say the same thing...
Katie, you were clearly born to be a mother to the adopted children too...

I don't know, Sharon. That sort of implies that their birthmothers weren't, when they really might have been, had circumstances been different.
Did they that do that with anyone else?
I'm not complaining - just wanted to know if anyone else noticed a change.
