The characters were gingerbread men. Flat, unchanging cookie-cut-outs with no original personality. But not only that, they were in..."
Did you read the 2 books that came after it? Of course there are no answers...it's the first book! Why would the author answer questions in book one of a trilogy??? The first book just scratches the surface of what is to come (and to be answered!) in the whole trilogy.

At least that way you'll have a proper opinion on it.
I didn't love this book, but I didn't dislike it either. I'm right in the middle with this one.
I liked it, but it's not one of those books that gets me 'excited'.
This is one of the best books ever! The plot is amazing, the characters are unforgettable, and there is action at every turn. It has the perfect combo action, suspense, romance, and humor. You will be sitting on the edge of your seat the whole time!! This is a book for girls and boys, all must read this amazing and completly awsome novel!!!!!!!!!

You need to read the other 2 books to get the full understanding of the end of the first book. Of course it lost it's "magic" at the end...because it wasn't the end!! There are 2 more books to read! If you liked the first but didn't like the ending why in the world would you not want to read the rest of the series to understand/discover what it is all about???
