Nina and why?

Noël YES!!! Its amazing, One of the best books I've ever read. It's unique and original has a poetic writing style and the characters are very well written and well developed. And the story is just amazing. You don't find a book like this every day. If you don't read this book your missing out. And be sure to look up the other books in this series. Crossed the 2nd book and the third and finale book is coming out November 13th this year. Hope you'll read them! :)

totally agree!

★Ruth★ It really depends on whether you like dysotopian books or not. I wouldn't normally be a huge fan but found myself quite enjoying this. It is definitely a slow burner but yet keeps moving along nicely and it really makes you appreciate things we sometimes take for granted like free will.

it is not unique have you read th hunger games or the giver? and pills they have been done before in matrix "are you going to take the red one or the blue one". the book matched is a great book but it's been done before in books and movies, if anything this book is cliche

Daisy It was OK for me. I have read better dystopian books. But since I'm a strong believer in "you should read it for yourself". I think you should read it and see what you think. We all have different opinions so you might love it.

I agree. For me it was a nice book, even if some parts were very slow and slightly boring. But a lot of people loved it, so I think you should give it a try... maybe you'll like it too :)

Lea (Peeta's #1 Fangirl!) It was okay. I've read better dytopian books. The society wasn't very original. I'd recommend Delirium intead..

Lea, I LOVED Delirium! It was a great read!

Yes. Wayy better than Matched.

Marta (gavina) I love it!!!!!
And I think you should read it!

It's a romantic history but it's not the typical. It's like a romantic and a futuristic story.

Michele You'll either like it or wish you didn't waste your money on it. I wish I didn't waste the money. But it all comes down to personal taste.
Why?- I thought it was slow and boring, the characters pretty one dimensional.

Valerie Give it a try. I liked it, but you might not. It's definitely worth a try though.

Kay I loved it.!<3
But truthfully, it wouldn't be my MOST favorite
book of all time. It was kinda slow but good. It has like this future-istic theme to it. So overall, it's oober good&&yes you should read it.!(:

Olivia yes and no.....I thought the plot was pretty good but the author could have written it better.

Valerie Olivia wrote: "yes and no.....I thought the plot was pretty good but the author could have written it better."

That's the best answer so far! :)

Beverlyn Elliott Absolutely! If you love dystopian YA that is fun and engaging.

Atlantic Gem Ok, as I said on another of your message boards, yes you should. If the second book did not exist, then I would say no.

I also agree

Mia It is so good! You should definitely read this!

Megan I find it really similar to The Uglies.

I didn't really like this book to much. I didn't find it very original.

J this book was really great, but it was also very simillar to Delirium by Lauren Oliver

I think you should def read it. Delirium was good but very slow. Try Divergent, SHatter Me, Wither too! But def read it. It was a sweet love story.

Estrella Perotti absolutly! I'm very kind of the dystopian genre and not all the books are good but crossed had a solid plot, the first of this trilogy is not the best book i've read but the second one worth it!

message 27: by Dawn (new) - rated it 3 stars

Dawn Bakewell Delirium was slow. I liked Matched much better but I have to say. The hunger games and Divergent are my two top favs for this type of book.

Mithrendiel If you enjoy sleepy sorts of stories where very little happens, and you spend an awful lot of time in the protagonists head while they ponder the nature of their world... then yes you should read this. I generally look for more action and adventure in my dystopian, so I was bored to tears reading Matched. The last few chapters are actually fairly exciting, but the rest of the book I had to force myself to read. For more exciting dystopian’ s I’d recommend Hunger Games (which I’m sure you’ve read), Divergent (another big popular one), and Angelfall (a self-published book but utterly gripping).

I couldn't agree more!
And I love your recommendations, Angelfall was amazing!
