LOL

Hubby and I didn't think about our son not being able to find personalized items off the shelf. They are out there though, Grandma has found 2 of the little license plates with his name on them.

Hot 'n' Juicy Ann is in for an interesting life. Ditto Friendly. Personally I'm going with Astamouthe, it's got a certain ring to it, a hint of the demonic.

Trike There is that one woman named Marijuana Pepsi. Hard to grow up with, but she says she likes it now.

Well let's face it, that's two very popular names.

Ami (aimdoggg) | 184 comments After lengthy discussion, my husband will not let me name our future baby "Xena." I've got a few months to work on him.

Of course in this state the mom gets to fill out the paperwork so I can technically name her whatever I want.

message 119: by Lara Amber (new)

Lara Amber (laraamber) | 664 comments Just remember, while you might get to fill out the paperwork, you will still need helping getting to the bathroom for a few days.

Hey, I'm Gina (short for Georgina, and what most of my friends call me). I always get the Xena warrior princess thing!

=) We've had enough kids now to know he's not that much of a help there. He prefers to stay out of the way during the recovery process. Last time he stayed home from work for a few days to watch the rest of the herd of children before escaping back to work. This is my last kid (I mean it this time) and my last chance to have a warrior princess baby.

Though you have a very good point that it would be in my best interest for him to be happy with me. I'll remember that.

Ami (aimdoggg) | 184 comments OK, change of plans. I just found out I'm having a boy so I'm forced to rethink names. No little Xena. My husband is thrilled. I'm thinking either Hercules or Tarzan.

Did Pickle have a kid and pick a name yet?

message 124: by [deleted user] (new)

Don't think so.

And if you're gonna go with a hercules/xena inspired name, you can't go wrong with Autolycus :P

CONGRATULATIONS!!

K.V. Johansen | 14 comments Someone above suggested Aeryn from Farscape. There's also Aerin, from McKinley's The Hero and the Crown, which I'd guess would have the same Aaron/Erin pronunciation. And Elanor, Sam's daughter and a flower that blooms in Lothlorien in the winter, but which has the advantage of looking like a modern variant spelling of Eleanor.

When we went to register our daughter we noticed Sophie was the top girl name registered in Scotland during 2011. Thanks again Sid ;)

If my parents had named me any of those names, I'd be in jail today for patricide.

If it's a boy, then his name simply MUST be Jaxom.

There, that's settled!

Jaxom is awesome. I'm going to go read all the Pern books again to look for more names. Maybe something with apostrophes... My husband may start having fits here.
