Forever
question
What did you think of the ending of Forever?

I just finished the book yesterday. The ending was only partly what I thought it would be. It was a little more abrupt than I would have liked it to be. Overall I really enjoyed the series and still gave books 1 and 3 5 stars (I didn't love how book 2 started off and it took me a while to get into it). Thoughts?

I liked the ending but it could have been longer and there was so much sadness as well as hope I read it a while ago but it a good series
Actually, no very excited or what. Just what I expected? I suppose?

She needs to make a fourth book. She basically got bored of the wolves of mercy falls and finished it in a hurry! She needed to slow down a little.
what was the point of cole trying to find a cure this whole time if it didnt even matter in the end. Yes he figured out he could turn back into a wolf for like an hour or vice versa but that was all we new about his cure. The most exciting parts of the books were when we would get more information about why they turn into wolves and how to stop it and she didnt even answer those questions. Ahhhh im so mad! 4TH BOOK!!!!!!!!
I had the same questions too. I didn't like how she left the ending open. I would love to have another book that would let us know what happened to all the characters.
You know, I wasnt really fond of the ending so I go my laptop and typed up an ending I would love, and stuck in the back of the book and that was enough closure for me :D
The end to me wasnt entirely making me so pissed or hated it, I thought it fit well with the storyline. Yeah perhaps will never know what truly happens and many questions are unanswered and it was sad. But you know what thats what books are. They can be sad, or happy, long or short, inspiring or stupid, a book is a book and that didnt stop me from liking it or the author. She did well at least I think so, and we will never know perhaps she will read fan mail from the viewer's and make a short spin-off. We'll just have to see.
I think it' s just OK. Because all of them( Sam , Grace, Cole, Isabel) would be happy and belonged together anyway.
Yet, if Maggie make it clear by writing another book, this series will be perfect!

I didn't entirely understand it. There are so many questions that I still have: Will they get cured? Will Isabelle and Cole get together? Will Sam ever turn into a wolf again? And most importantly: Did Sam and Grace end up together?
I hate open endings, when the author feels that we should just let our imagination take over. I didn't WANT that! I wanted to know what would happen. I wanted to know how to ending would turn out. The ending was what I was waiting for ever since I started the series. Maggie really disappointed me with this one.
Ever since I finished the book (about a week ago), I just wanted questions answered. When a series is tied up, we should KNOW everything, and not have any questions. Take Harry Potter or Twilight for instance. After those series', everything was tied up, and I was happy! I had no questions left to ask. Ever since I finished this book, however, I have an ache in my chest, and I keep wondering what would have happened.
I like to think that Cole moved to California to be with Isabelle and Sam and Grace got their happy ending. That's just what I think =)
And *cough*... maybe if we all start some, I dunno, petition, Maggie would see it and she would write *cough* another book. I'd like that, LOL, but I don't think that's gonna happen :( Or, you know, a novella would do just fine...
Okay. I'm gonna shut up now.

Agreed! She has left the ending to open :/ i think she needs to make a book that ties up all of the loose ends! :)
