Just finished my first GoodReads giveaway campaign for World Book Night! The lucky winner has a signed copy of The Serpent in the Glass winging its way over to them in Australia!Thank you to all 1446 GoodReads entrants! It is nice to know it's so popular :)
OK, it's officially launched...http://britishindiefiction.blogspot.c...
and the first feature is Rachel Abbott, whose sold about 100,000 books over the last 6 months..
Just a little comment or two (you know me!)When you've clicked a link the blue still goes so dark that you can barely read it if you want to click it again. Another colour might be better.
Also, when you changed Karl Jones' sex to female I hope Karla was given an anaesthetic!
Thank you to everyone who supported my debut novel, The Serpent in the Glass. As of today it has 50 ratings on GoodReads and has been added by over 400 of you!
Currently enjoying 'Pied and Prodigious.' Must stop trying to read several books at once, I don't get anywhere fast!
Do let me know what you think of it - not a huge epic on my part, but hopefully it'll bring a few giggles to the reader.p.s. thanks for the retweet - retweeted a couple of yours ;)
The Serpent in the Glass featured as a "Great Read" on Digital Book Today!http://digitalbooktoday.com/2012/04/2...
lol. I've often wondered what things would be like if it took a day to write a book, but a year to read one...
I'm not sure that book would have had the same place in the history of literature if it had been called "War and More War" ;)
Oops... I clicked it...Finished The Serpent in the Glass it was rubbish. Are you doing a sequel?
I'm now reading the one you recommended The Wizard of Time
I made the first chapter of Pied and Prodigious available here:http://www.wattpad.com/4363233-pied-a...
EDIT: how did I manage that blank post above this one?
Clicked into the realm of vague shapes, warped memories and scattered dreams...a place of chaos, entropy and poor-quality restaurants...
Here - you can use my Betty Boop one and I'll pop yours in the washing machine. Oh, wait that might not be a good idea at the moment, he is under the evil influence of the microwave!
