How to I get a refund on a kindle book?

I think I may have single handedly been responsible for making them so fed up with dealing with me they had to do it HAHA.
I'll go have a gander.

Just done it! Fantastic - thanks. Much better than sending emails! So simple really, but I was looking in the wrong places before.

Please let us know if it works, Karen.
You're a star Elle.

And I'm glad it's so easy! Yay for Amazon!

It worked Patti!

After a couple of glasses of nice red wine I bought instead of sampling a book which cost £9! I was pretty quick with my email to amazon then - but I didn't mention the wine! I tend to buy from the pc much more often than I do on the kindle.

Anyway, I have a bad *too quick to click* habit!
And I still have a book that I bought when I first got my Kindle that I have NO idea what it is.

Thanks for posting this Elle! :D I brought two ebooks by Jodi Picoult from Amazon and they were full of hundreds of spelling mistakes (ie: 'goy' instead of 'guy') and formatting mistakes. The mistakes were too annoying to continue reading them. They were distracting me from the story so I've returned them now. Amazon or the publishers should really get someone to proof read their books before they go on sale!

This is why I get annoyed when I hear people say that indie books are always full of typos - yes, some of them are, but so are an awful lot of traditionally published books! I've read a few lately which are traditionally published and they all had typos - not enough to put me off reading them though, but it's unfair to single out indies as being the worst offender. I think that it is a general problem with kindle editions, where publishers are rushing to make them available, and will hopefully settle down with time.

Thanks in advance.
