manually add self published book

When I visited Author Program, it instructs the author to click on a link to manually add a self published book, but when I clicked on link, it said only "librarians" can use the function. Is that link not working at this time? How can I upload my book today?

Is the meta data of your book already on Goodreads? If not, you can add the book manually.

What I typically do is a search of a book. When it doesn't come up, on the right side you'll see "manually add a book." Add it from there.

Thank Reena. When I clicked on the option to "manually add a book" it gives me message that only librarians can use that function. Can you try it on your end and see what happens when you try to manually add a book. I think their system is not working... I would appreciate any help.

Sorry for my delay in responding, Mary.

I'm able to pull up the form after using the "manually add a book" feature. However, I can't test it fully because I'd have to actually add a book, which I don't want to do since I don't have a book to add.

I've added books in the past though. In fact, I add my books before I publish them. The last book I added was in late December. It might be because I have an author profile.

Try requesting to get your profile change to an author profile.
