Anne Patkau | 93 comments I first noticed on my current shelf with covers I created, then found, so squaring off general:

Those all look rectangular to me. The last time you brought this up no one else was seeing what you are seeing either. I wonder if it's a browser setting on your end or something?

Anne Patkau | 93 comments The "last time" I was getting notifications an email for hundreds of unrelated threads and did not see the replies. That time only had a couple I uploaded myself. The second time, more severe examples, that I did not upload, came from system.

I use two browsers, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer (8?). On both, the worst, Sam's Letters to Jennifer, displays 2"x2" square. The book in front of me was rectangular.

So is Sam not 2x2 on your browser? Could you tell me what browser you use please?

Thanks. A minor problem, but I do use first impressions of color, shape to choose my edition, after initial bad experiences selecting audio and kindle by mistake, which (aha?!) looked more square, I am more careful. Is there some default that uploads e-books and audio square? Could that be tweaking paper editions?

❂ Murder by Death (murderbydeath) Just checked on Safari/Mac 10.7 and they look rectangular/normal to me. Definitely not square.

Amanda | 2442 comments It might be your computer's display settings rather than a browser issue

It shows up rectangular/normal on my computer (Google Chrome)

Riona (rionafaith) | 122 comments These all look fine (rectangular) to me too. I'm using chrome.

Vicky (librovert) | 2462 comments They look normal to me as well.

Next time you notice this, it may be a good idea to take a screenshot so we can see what you're talking about?

Anne Patkau | 93 comments I started to set up the screenshot with my tape measure then thought of an easier cure. I uploaded the rectangular cover on the paperback version of Sam's Letters to replace the square large print hardcover. Attaching screenshots needs an email address. I took capture of McLean Knows cover if you have an email address. When I realized that wouldn't show my tape measure, I made two (horizontal & vertical) on-screen, but I no longer have the book itself to prove that it looks more rectangular, so do not think sending you a screen capture would help.
