Melissa | 363 comments I have to many to get to them all.

I use Goodreads to keep track of what I own and have read and liked. I have stacks of books I own that haven't been read yet.

I do pick out 12 books every January that are to be read throughout the year. I just walk around my stacks of TBR books and randomly pick them up so there is always a hodgepodge of books planned.

Katz Nancy from NJ (nancyk18) I don't have a TBR list, instead I have tons of books which I am free to read when I want to. Part of the the reason is that I don't always participate in challenges or have a list is that I am a mood reader so I read what I want when I want to. But that doesn't mean I don't always avoid a challenge or read for my three book groups.

Same story, albeit in lower numbers.

Lára | 175 comments I frequently mantain my to read list and the books that are hard to come by I move on the top and try to get them first and others I move to my "maybe" list if they´ve been on tbr for too long. Works just fine

Nina Kellock | 2 comments What stops me is buying yet more books to add to the 'waiting to be read' shelves in one of my bookcases, all of which seem more interesting!

Lin | 266 comments lol I read 20-25 books a month. I have over 1100 books on my tbr list I buy new books every week I get hardbacks from the library. I still have to find some time fir cooking meals, doing laundry, running errands , spending time with family, going to gym 3 times s week. Notice I didn't mention sleeping? I average 5-6 hours a night. I am not will to give up any of the things I do now to read more. I am happy with the balance I have. If I still have over a 1000 books on my to do list when I die, I will still die happy over all the ones I did manage read.

Karen M | 418 comments I keep learning about new, interesting sounding books on GoodReads or NY Times book review or wherever. I check the library for ebooks and if they have the book, of course, I download it. Meanwhile, the books I've purchased that are on my shelf and the ebooks I buy are just sitting and waiting to be read.

Melissa | 363 comments I have a revolving TBR bookcase that I go through and shuffle books on and off of at the beginning of the month. I always think I will read them all within the month. Usually I get through most of them but if I don't it is seems to be because I spent so much time on one of the larger books that I can't get through the rest of them before the end of the month.

Or I get stuck on a book that I am having a hard time getting through, I have been trying to make myself put those books down and move on instead of forcing myself to keep reading. I know put those back on the shelf and come back later to read. If I try twice and just can't get into them then I send them to the library donation pile or give them to someone who I think may like it.

Bridgette | 36 comments For me it's that I don't have enough time in the day to get loads of reading done unless it's days off or holiday away from work. I'm always getting new books, I always seem to read the ones I got recently instead of the ones that I have been meaning to read for a while. 🙂

I look forward to weekends and holidays too.
