I finally finished it. I didn't know if I would like it but then I got to the Hunger Games part and I was drawn in. I loved it. Thank you for picking it for me.

I finished my book , I gave it three stars. I didn't like the main character Meghan. I think that if I'd be able to put this down and come back later I may have liked it more, but I wanted to get it done for the challenge

So I finished my book . I gave it 5 stars. It was great.

REVIEW:I loved this book. It was so well written and original. I was totally surprised I liked it as much as I did because I hated the Twilight series. Ok so there was only one thing I didn't like about the while thing and that was that the beginning was so slow it was hard to get through. Once I got to the human settlement part it got so good it was hard to put down. So don't quit just get through the first 9 chapters and your in the clear.

The characters were deep and interesting. They all changed and grew and learned. I couldn't help but fall in love with all the characters. The main characters Wanderer and Melanie were incredibly thought out. Wanderer is the alien who is put in Melanie's body only instead of Melanie disappearing like she's supposed to the two consciousnesses end up living together. Then they run into Melanie's uncles human congregation and things get interesting. I don't even want to know what it feels like to have 2 souls who love different people in one body.

This is also the first book that I've read where the ending made me cry. You fall in love with the characters so you feel what they feel and this causes a huge roller coaster ride of emotion through the whole story. Incredible plot, writing, characterization. One of my favorites.

I finished Like Water for Chocolate and it was really good. I really loved it because I actually read it on the beach in Mexico which was cool cause it takes place in Mexico. It wasn't the normal kind of story telling I'm used to. The whole novel sounds more like old legends that a grandparent tells their grandchildren. All in all I liked it so thank you for picking it for me!

Like Water for Chocolate is a really, really good book. Have you seen the movie? It was also very good. I heard somewhere that the title is a euphemism in Spanish for 'the boiling point', but I'm not sure if that's true.

I just finished Everneath. I liked it. It had a pretty unique take on mythology. I love that it was set in Park city Utah, which is just 30 minutes from me. I haven't ever read a book set in a place I was so familiar with. It was pretty cool. If this book hadn't of been picked for me I may have never read it, and would've been missing out:)

I didn't know there was a movie! I will definitely have to check that out! It mentioned something in the book about the spanish phrase like water for chocolates, it kind of lost me, but that sounds about right.

I hate to say this .. but I just couldn't read "The Host" any longer. I stopped at Chapter 18 which was coincidentally titled "Bored" .. and for me it was a snooze fest. I wanted to like it, I wanted to finish it .. but in the end, I just couldn't spend another minute of my quality reading time on a book that couldn't hook me in the first 150+ pages (I definitely gave it a fair chance). I am pretty strict about finishing books too, which is why I spent more than 150 pages on it, I'm not one to abandon a book. However, "The Host" is now the second book in my lifetime that I just couldn't finish (the other was "The Tommyknockers"). Maybe I just don't have a liking for Aliens? Although I did read "The Chrysalids" a few months back, and that wasn't too bad.

Sorry for not finishing :( I really tried!!

Hey, Buddy! I felt the same way about The Host. I did keep going, though, and about halfway through I finally got really interested in it. So maybe when you do not have something readily available, you can pick it up and read a bit, or put in the the bathroom for some potty reading material. :)

I liked it but it was slow. I just liked the character dynamics. But it did take awhile to get into. So I don't blame you. I don't know Stephanie Meyer is just not that great a writer. I mean come on Twilight was just bad.
