Script Frenzy 2012

From the Script Frenzy Website:

Script Frenzy is an international writing event in which participants take on the challenge of writing 100 pages of scripted material in the month of April. As part of a donation-funded nonprofit, Script Frenzy charges no fee to participate; there are also no valuable prizes awarded or "best" scripts singled out. Every writer who completes the goal of 100 pages is victorious and awe-inspiring and will receive a handsome Script Frenzy Winner's Certificate and web icon proclaiming this fact.

So, who's participating this year? I decided to do it for the first time.

PS: It's run by the same people who do NaNoWriMo.

I've never tried writing a script but it sound interesting so I actually might try it. Some of my idea's for novels just seem like they would be better scripted anyways.... OMG I just had the best idea for my script! YAY! Can't wait till April... LOL the idea literally just popped into my mind as I was typing LOL....

I want to do it, but I don't have any ideas yet. Hmm. Also, I'll probably be pretty busy in April since it will be nearing the end of my second semester... But, we'll see. :)

Also, y'all shouldn't be so afraid of script-writing. Just think of it as writing a book, except it's almost exclusively dialogue. Ha. I've learned a lot about novel-writing from playwriting, actually, because it's taught me how to be much more concise.
